How we can help…

A comprehensive program

It often takes a team of professionals to improve function and deal with the emotional issues which often accompany neurological conditions. Upon diagnosis and referral by your physician, we’ll provide care every step of the way. Depending on your needs and goals, care may be provided by physical, occupational or speech therapists, a social worker, or psychologist. Family education and a home checkout with at-home instructions is often provided. We’ll also identify community support groups and wellness classes that can help you to live to the best of your abilities.

What to expect…

Improved physical fitness & emotional support

A thorough initial evaluation is performed by each discipline involved in your care. Goals for physical function are then established. Your treatment program may include increasing range of movement, reducing tone/spasticity, strengthening weak muscles, walking with a steady gait, and/or improving balance. Using a variety of strategies and treatment techniques, we help you regain and maintain a more active lifestyle. You’ll also receive support to assist with any emotional issues you experience from specially trained health professionals. Overall, it’s a very positive environment for your recovery.
